Global Climate Integration Matrix

This Global Climate Integration Matrix serves as a technical guidance to present potential programmatic integration of the climate change thematic in the sectors of health, nutrition, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), education, child protection and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), food security and livelihoods (FSL), and child rights governance for Save the Children operations across the world. The primary objective of this resource is to provide country teams with direction on how to integrate climate adaptation and/or mitigation activities into your project design for each sector. It is important to note that this matrix provides only a partial overview of the many ways to develop programs that can contribute to better adaptation and mitigation against climate change. By highlighting opportunities for programmatic integration, this matrix serves as a valuable tool to guide future sector-specific and cross-sector brainstorming, strategic design, action and investment in these critical areas.
