Gender Equality Annual Report 2023: Towards a Gender Just Future

The Gender Equality Annual Report reflects on CARE’s collective progress towards the gender equality goals set out in Vision 2030. It highlights the global challenges we face, our impact to date and how CARE is leading change as we look towards the future.

The report illustrates how we have collectively contributed to Sustainable Development Goal 5 on Gender Equality by supporting 16.5 million women & girls to increase their empowerment & gender equality since 2015. This has been achieved not only by focusing on our priority areas under the Gender Equality Impact Area Strategy but by integrating gender into ALL our efforts, across development and humanitarian settings.

It also highlights how CARE as an organization is shifting as we look towards the future, working closely with women’s rights organizations and building networks of women leading change towards a more just and equal future for all.
