CARE’s Gender-based Violence (GBV) Guidance for Development Programs is a practical tool for implementing high-quality GBV interventions and following ethical best practice across the project cycle.

The Guidance aids both GBV specialists and non-specialists to integrate GBV approaches into other, sectoral programming, and to implement stand-alone GBV programming. It includes 10 steps for GBV integration, with case scenarios illustrating GBV risks and opportunities for intervention in a range of programs, such as those focused on food, water, health, climate and women’s economic justice.
