Climate change is a global emergency that extends beyond national borders and impacts both human and natural systems. South Asia is most vulnerable to impacts of climate change. Its adverse impacts are worsening and becoming more evident.

The main goal of this study is to provide evidence to review the development and implementaion of gender and child-responsive climate policies and programmes at the country level in South Asia (Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka). In this regard, the report assesses the state of gender and children/youth inclusion in national level climate change policies as well as analysing four climate-affected sectors – agriculture, forest, water, and energy (with a focus on renewable energy).
