ChildFund Alliance
As the United Nations and Governments around the world gather to discuss and define the next set of global priorities, it’s imperative for children and adolescents to play an active role in the decision making process.
In 2013, ChildFund Alliance conducted 6,500 one-on-one interviews with 47 countries, asking them to rank what is important for them and their families, according to the MY World survey, and what they wanted world leaders to do about violence against children. The results from these interviews, along with additional group discussions and consultations held in 40 countries, are presented in this report.
Education, healthcare, violence against children, and care of the environment were some of the concerns echoed by a majority of respondents.
