Food and Nutrition Office Newsletter

On behalf of the Editorial Committee, it gives us great pleasure to introduce the inaugural edition of the Ministry of Agriculture Food and Nutrition Office (FNO) quarterly Newsletter. This collaborative publication is a joint effort between the Nutrition-Sensitive Agriculture Capacity Strengthening in Ethiopia (NSA CASE) Project and FNO, focusing on the theme “Diversified and Safe Food for Healthy Lives.”

Access to nutritious and safe food is integral to achieving good health and productivity. This newsletter aims to disseminate valuable insights, updates, and resources related to Ethiopia’s food and nutrition landscape. Our goal is to contribute to knowledge-sharing in a manner that can beneficially impact individuals, communities, and the nation.
Through our partnership with the NSA CASE Project and other collaborators, we have access to their wealth of expertise and research in the domain of nutrition-sensitive agriculture. This allows us to present evidence-based practices, success stories, and innovative approaches that further diversified and safe food production and consumption, thus ensuring our population’s health and well-being.

We extend our gratitude to the FNO and NSA CASE Project team for their collaboration and support, which enabled the launch of this newsletter. It is our hope that this publication becomes a helpful resource through knowledge-sharing, inspiration, and calls to action. Your feedback and suggestions are important for our future improvements.
