Financing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Putting the children who are the furthest behind first

The potential gain is extraordinary. Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – with their underlying pledge to reach those furthest behind first – would ensure that all children are given the chance to fulfill their potential. It would deliver the investment in human capital needed for long-term economic productivity and sustainability. But without increasing public investment in the most deprived and marginalised children, that ambition will remain a distant dream.
