This material aims to provide a guideline for the development of farmer field school (FFS) curricula on nutrition and local food plants with a gender approach. It starts with an explanation of the FFS approach, followed by an introduction to the main concepts and topics related to nutrition, local food plants and gender. Then, the two levels in the FFS implementation process are elaborated: the first one is the preparatory work and capacity building at the level of the implementing organization, the second one regards FFS implementation at the community level.
