A collection of resources to address feeding difficulties and disability inclusion in nutrition programs

The Feeding and Disability Resource Bank is a repository of materials that help nutrition and disability programme managers, government leaders, and donor agency staff design and implement effective nutrition programmes for children with disabilities. According to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), children with disabilities include those with, “long-term physical, mental, intellectual, or sensory impairments, and who may experience barriers that may hinder their full and effective participation in society on an equal basis with others.”

Originally developed by USAID Advancing Nutrition, the Agency’s flagship multi-sectoral nutrition project from 2018-2023 led by JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI), the Resource Bank has been managed and updated by UNICEF since 2024.
