Faith-based support for prohibition and elimination of corporal punishment of children – a global review

The Churches’ Network for Non-violence aims to provide support, information and practical resources to assist people in churches and communities to promote positive, non-violent discipline. This document presents those agreements and doctrines which influential leaders of various faiths have signed in order to promote non-violence against children. It also introduces specific faith-based support for the prohibition of violence, from Buddhism to Christianity.
