The Humanitarian Pandemic Preparedness (H2P) Initiative helps countries prepare for pandemic influenza outbreaks by encouraging them to develop a ready and deployable capacity to train first responders during an epidemic. This capacity will enable countries to provide fast, coordinated and effective responses that will minimize sickness and death and maintain societal cohesion and integrity.
This facilitator’s guide is part of a training package aiming to help countries get prepared for a pandemic influenza emergency.
