Expanding the Evidence Base for Child-responsive Locally Led Adaptation

This study, commissioned by Save the Children and led by The Share Trust, examined emerging practices for child-responsive Locally Led Adaptation (LLA) globally and with deep dives in Mali and Uganda. It aimed to capture good practices through exploring the evidence, projects, and stakeholders involved in LLA. Current practices, challenges, enablers, and opportunities were identified for responding to the specific needs, rights, priorities, and capacities of children, youth, and women in contexts where systemic barriers undermine their agency and leadership in climate action.
