This report focuses on child workers’ psychological help and the psychological development of working children. Through a review of key psychosocial instruments, it indicates how the challenges of defining and measuring the psychosocial impact of child labour could be approached both quantitatively and qualitatively. It also identifies factors and circumstances that should be taken into account in future research.
This report is based on a version of the Psychosocial Assessment Tool for Child Labourers (PAT-CL), which is located in Annex Va. and Annex Vb of the report.
