Every Last Child Country Spotlight: Albania

Save the Children is campaigning at an international and national level to achieve the greatest impact for children with the Every Last Child Campaign.

This country spotlight looks at the research on excluded children in Albania. Qualitative findings show that children with disabilities in Albania and their families experience multiple stigma and forms of discrimination. This is a result of the combined impact of their poverty, social isolation, and lack of services and support. In order for Albania to accomplish its commitments to children with disabilities and to realize the promise of ensuring their equal treatment and inclusion, Save the Children recommends a series of necessary actions.
