Evaluation of the Local to Global Programme 2013-15

This evaluation of Save the Children Sweden’s Sida-funded “Local to Global” (LtoG) programme was undertaken to examine the extent to which the LtoG approach of doing simultaneous advocacy work at local, national and global levels has contributed to achieving advocacy and partner capacity building outcomes identified at national and local levels.

The goal of Local to Global was to contribute to the EVERY ONE Campaign goal of achieving MDG 4 by reducing two thirds of child mortality by 2015. LtoG sought to achieve formal commitments by government and local decision-makers to improve children’s health at national and sub-national levels and to advocate for the issue of child health to be increasingly highlighted in international forums.
