Ensuring Accountability to Girls throughout Generation Equality

Achieving progress for girls, including adolescent girls, requires us to tackle the many causes and consequences of the rights violations they experience at once and in an integrated manner.

If the Action Coalitions as part of the Beijing+25 process are to deliver on the rights of the girl child, they must first deliver on her right to participate in decisions that affect her, and this must include the processes proposed to accelerate progress to achieve gender equality within her lifetime.
