Ending Physical and Humiliating Punishment of Children: Making it happen – Part I

Save the Children’s global submission to the UN Study on Violence against Children on physical and humiliating punishment, Part I. It contains reports summarizing region-by-region work by Save the Children and its partners in many countries, and includes recommendations for regional and national action. Part II (a separate report) includes the regional submissions that will serve as inputs to the Study. The report is a contribution to the first-ever global study of violence against children carried out by the United Nations – a study that involves children from all over the world giving recognition and support to their essential role in combating all forms of violence and making the world a safer place.
