Save the Children
Kenya aspires to become a prosperous nation with a high quality of lives, this commitment is even inscribed in their constitution. Nonetheless, many Kenyans still struggle with inequalities that deny their right to reach their full potential. Rates of malnutrition remain remarkably high, with 26% of children suffering from stunting.
Save the Children has been supporting the Kenyan government since 2007 through implementing nutrition services in three high-burden counties. Current programming aims to tackle immediate and underlying causes of malnutrition. Read more about Save the Children’s response within the brief.
