Churches' Network for Non-violence,Global Initiative to End All Corporal Punishment of Children
This handbook was produced by the Churches’ Network for Non-violence and the Global Initiative to End All Corporal Punishment. It provides tools and resources to support a faith-based approach to the prohibition of corporal punishment and to support positive, non-violent adult-child relationships.
The handbook is organised into nine segments, each of which can be used individually or collectively. It opens with a contextualisation of Christian beliefs within the fight to end corporal punishment of children. It continues with a series of faith-based tools that can be used to educate and promote child protection. Methods of advocating for change and activism are also provided.
