Save the Children Tanzania
The purpose of this evaluation was to establish the outcomes of the Digital Learning Project on the learning and wellbeing of refugee children; girls and boys in Save the Children supported schools in Nduta and Nyarugusu camps. The project aimed at promoting school attendance, quality learning and resilience of 32,645 refugee children by complementing conventional teaching and learning techniques: teacher and book-centred to foster learning continuity, social and emotional learning to manage stress, among other things. Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) is increasingly becoming an indispensable part of the education system. These changes have caused educational institutions, administrators, teachers to rethink their roles, teaching and vision for the future. ICT has opened new opportunities and solutions for quality education.
