The publication “Empowering the Poor: through Human Rights Litigation” is part of UNESCO’s efforts to advance social inclusion through the development of innovative approaches to fight marginalization, poverty and exclusion. It is a pedagogical tool that seeks to guide grassroots organizations as well as State authorities in their work to eradicate poverty. The Manual aims to support advocacy and training initiatives as well as actions that share knowledge, reduce deprivation and preserve human dignity with the view to creating an inclusive culture of peace in which everyone has the freedom to imagine a better world and the tools to shape reality in this direction.
