The effects of climate change make it difficult for countries to feed their population and among the most affected are children who will be at greater risk of malnutrition and hunger. The relationship between food and nutrition security and climate variability must include vulnerability analysis of the entire chain from production, distribution and consumption of food and the impact of climate variability on the dimensions of food and nutrition security (access, availability, biological utility, and stability). This research aims to Identify the main causes, barriers, and solutions of the influence of climate variability on the problem of hunger (nutrition and food security) that impacts children under ten (10) years of age in the most vulnerable areas in Maicao (La Guajira), Buenaventura (Valle del Cauca) and Tame (Arauca).
