Educational Statistics for Children under Temporary Protection in Turkey: Statistical report

As of October 2019, Turkey was home to nearly 4 million persons under temporary protection. Over 1,7 million were children. Despite investments from the authorities, host communities struggle to provide basic services to these persons. The needs are particularly urgent in education. 

This report describes the educational situation of children under temporary protection in Turkey. It includes key statistics on formal and non-formal education as well as information on the education opportunities available for youth and adults under temporary protection in the country.
