Education Needs Assessment Report: Mykolaiv City, Ukraine

The Education Needs Assessment in Mykolaiv City was conducted by Save the Children, with the support of the Japan Platform (JPF) in April 2023. It provides a current picture of educational needs and access to distance education in Mykolaiv City and nearby areas to inform and strengthen current and future educational projects that support girls’ and boys’ learning and wellbeing. While the data and the findings of the report are limited to Mykolaiv city, they can inform humanitarian actions in other regions of Ukraine that are close to the front line, have been retaken by the Government of Ukraine, or are heavily affected by the war and, therefore, might experience a comparable set of needs and barriers in education.
