Education in Crisis in Yemen

This briefing sets out the extensive education needs in Yemen after more than six years of conflict and resulting impact on infrastructure, teachers, protection, as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. It highlights Save the Children’s response, key challenges facing the education response and recommendations for governments, agencies and donors in supporting the continued education for children in Yemen. Save the Children is calling for donors to step-up critical, immediate and long-term sustainable funding to fill chronic gaps in education programming for all children in Yemen.
