The districts of Pader and Katakwi in Uganda have been the scene and victim of recurring disasters in the last 10 years. This study focuses on the assessment of domestic response contributions to the overall humanitarian response in Uganda. On a 10 year period, this paper maps the resource flows of the domestic response and provides an assessment of the impacts and benefits of said resource flows. The study provides recommendations on how to build a stronger humanitarian response system so that the strength of humanitarian actors (international or national) are used at their full potential.
