Disaster Risk Reduction in the Education Sector: China

Since 2008, Save the Children has implemented Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) programs in the earthquake-affected provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan and Gansu in partnership with agencies across West China. This collaboration has enabled a direct reach to more than 13,000 children and 17,000 adults and indirect reach to more than 590,000 children and 280,000 adults.

This poster provides a brief description of Save the Children’s programmes on Disaster Risk Reduction in the education sector in China.
