“Det Börjar med Dig!”: Material för handledare

It is clear that youth do not want to be passive recipients of other’s ideas. On the contrary, they need to/want to participate in and create solutions for the problems that affect them and the society they live in. With the methods suggested in this handbook, Save the Children Sweden seeks to give life to youth’s hope to reflect on their own selves, their dreams, their lives, and society as a whole.

Through changing how we work with and in relation to youth, we can give them the opportunity to affect the environment they live in. All children and youth have the right to speak up about their ideas and form their hopes into actions. With the coaching-method presented in this publication, we can ensure that this becomes a reality for all youth.
