2020-2030 was recognised (regionally) during a conference on Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) in Belgrad 2019 as the decade of Action on IYCF in Europe and Central Asia. It encourages all countries in the region to commit to action. This strategic note is based on what was articulated, proposed and proclaimed during the conference on the concerning IYCF situation and especially breastfeeding in the region.
