The aim of this situational analysis is to provide an overview of the situation for children and their families living in the Dampier Peninsula region. It has been produced to inform the development of Save the Children’s Dampier Peninsula Children and Family Wellbeing Project (the Project). The Project is aiming to bring community and stakeholders together, and determine how stronger links and mutually reinforcing activities can be developed for children aged 0-8 years and their families. This is with the long term view of addressing systemic barriers and ultimately improving outcomes for children across education, health and wellbeing throughout the region.
