Comprehensive School Safety (CSS) Targets and Indicators contains a series of output targets and indicators on the enabling environment and all three pillars of the CSS – 1) safer learning facilities, 2) school disaster management and 3) risk and resilience education. The CSS Targets and Indicators are intended to guide policy and program development and stimulate monitoring and evaluation of progress towards risk reduction and resilience in the education sector. The template of targets and indicators is expected to support national and sub-national education authorities to incorporate risk reduction into education sector strategies and plans, and to achieve and measure progress towards these goals. National and subnational education authorities, education specialists and programme managers. Can be used in conjunction with the Comprehensive School Safety Framework (CSSF).
