Case Management, Standard 15, is a part of the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (CPMS).

During humanitarian emergencies, children face violenc,e abuse, neglect, and exploitation. Case management is a core response to address individual children’s situations. It is a process that includes working closely with vulnerable girls and boys in a specific humanitarian crisis. Case Management is the process of helping individual children and families through direct social-work type support, and information management.
