Community-Based Care in Ethiopia: Implementing a Demand Creation Strategy for Improved Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health Outcomes

This report is a process documentation report summarizing the Maternal Newborn and Child Health-Community Based Newborn Care (MNCH-CBNC) Demand Creation process undertaken by the USAID-funded Maternal Child Survival Program (MCSP) to support the effective implementation of Ethiopia’s national Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) Community Based Newborn Care (CBNC) Program. It is hoped that the key results and lessons learned will provide helpful design and implementation guidance for future program implementation.
