Commitments Approach: Baseline Report Summary (Uganda, 2026)

This summary presents baseline findings from Save the Children’s Commitments Approach assessment in refugee-hosting schools in Uganda. The study examines teachers’ knowledge, attitudes and practices related to child protection, gender equity, safeguarding and positive discipline, alongside learner perspectives on school safety and inclusion. Findings identify strengths and gaps to inform future social-emotional learning and safeguarding interventions.
