Comments on the First Periodic Report of the Government of Indonesia to the Committee on the Rights of the Child (Covering the period from 1993 to June 2000)

Supplementary report to Indonesia’s periodic country report on the implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, prepared for the “Indonesian NGO Coalition for CRC Monitoring”. The document provides a brief update on major measures taken by the Government of Indonesia after the reporting period; issues a general comment on the Government report taking into account the latest updates; and voices particular concerns on the status of the CRC instrument of ratification by the Government of Indonesia.
