Climate Impact Checkup Tool: Pilot Testing of the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Assessment at Climate-Vulnerable Health Facilities Report (Laos, 2025)

This report documents the pilot testing of Health Care Without Harm’s Climate Impact Checkup tool to assess greenhouse gas emissions within Lao PDR’s health system. Conducted under the Strengthening Climate Resilience of the Lao PDR Health System project, the assessment supports climate-resilient and energy-efficient infrastructure upgrades in rural health facilities by establishing emissions baselines and identifying opportunities to reduce emissions while improving climate-related healthcare delivery.
