Climate Adaptation, Resilience and Empowerment: Addressing the Impact of Climate Change in Cambodia (2026)

The Climate Adaptation, Resilience and Empowerment Project supported 15 communes in Koh Kong Province to understand their vulnerability to climate change, develop plans for adaptation, and implement inclusive adaptation actions. Communes, schools and farmer producer groups established inclusive adaptation plans, and implemented priority actions such as water conservation and infrastructure retrofitting. Farmers adopted climate-smart agriculture techniques, resulting in improved productivity and statistically significant increases in average annual profits.
