This article examines how changes occurring locally, nationally, and globally demand civil society organizations to change the way they operate. These changes, discussed in the text, are also prompting a new, ‘ecological’ perspective of human society. Interaction and integration are given more space for discussion than they were before, according to Taylor.
Conclusions are made in the form of leading questions for future study.
