“COVID-19 in Latin America and the Caribbean. Children´s rights are no quarantined” Save the Children policy paper gathers not only key data to understand the impacts of the humanitarian crisis caused by this global pandemic on children´s life’s, but also it amplifies the voices of girls and boys and shows examples of the response work carried out by Save the Children in the region and recommendations to the actors involved to keep children protected, to promote their psychological and emotional well-being, while promoting that children are involved in all decisions that affect them and in all response and recovery measures taking into consideration our three breakthroughs.


El informe de Save the Children “COVID-19 en América Latina y el caribe. Los derechos de la niñez no están en cuarentena” recoge además de datos clave para entender los impactos de la crisis humanitaria provocada por esta pandemia global en las vidas de niñas, niños y adolescentes, sino que también muestra sus voces junto a ejemplos del trabajo de respuesta realizado por Save the Children en la región y recomendaciones a los actores implicados para para mantener a la niñez protegida, para promover su bienestar psicológico y emocional, a la vez que se promueve que la niñez está involucrada en todas las decisiones que les afecten y en todas las medidas de respuesta y recuperación tomando en cuenta los tres grandes avances que promovemos desde Save the Children.
