Children’s Participation in Save the Children Sweden Supported Programs in Ethiopia

 Save the Children Sweden (SCS)  has been working towards promoting child participation initiatives in Ethiopia in collaboration with its partners. This study attempts to document the efforts and experiences of SCS and its partners in child participation initiatives for the past few years and also gives recommendations for further developing children’s participation in Ethiopia. The overall aim of the assessment is to document processes, good practices, challenges, and lessons learned from programme experiences with the participation of children with a view to increasing action learning and improving future practices.  

Case studies of projects which are believed to be demonstrative of children’s participation are also documented in order to highlight the practical implementation of children’s participation in the intervention programs of SCS and its partners.
