Children’s Development and Wellbeing is an interactive online training, hosted on DisasterReady, that focuses on the provision of psychosocial support to children, adolescents and youth. Save the Children is grateful to have developed this initiative in collaboration with the support of the Syrian Wellbeing Collective – a platform for Syrian Community Based Organisations, as well as contributions from other experts around the world, from academia, the IASC MHPSS Reference Group, the Alliance for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action, UN-agencies and other INGOs.
You will need a Disaster Ready account to access this e-learning.
This training responds to the request for capacity building support for field staff working directly with distressed children and families in hard-to-reach areas around the world, with a focus on the Middle East region, especially Syria. The training package is available in Arabic and English and comprises six modules:
Module 1 – Child development
Module 2 & 3 – MHPSS (Concepts and Interventions)
Module 4 – Fun, Safe, Inclusive Facilitation
