Children First and Foremost: A guide to realising the rights of children and families in an irregular migration situation

This guide is the result of PICUM’s two year project “Building Strategies to Improve the Protection of Undocumented Children in Europe”, which aimed to spread understanding of the challenges children in an irregular migration situation face in accessing their fundamental rights to education, healthcare and housing in Europe, and to share and develop good practices and strategies to overcome these barriers. The guide is intended to be accessible to and usable by all – including undocumented families, healthcare professionals, lawyers, public officials, policy makers and civil society organisations.
