Children and Young People’s Participation in Peace Building: Asia workshop

In 2010 and 2011 Save the Children organized regional workshops with the objective to support children and young people from Asia, Africa, Latin-America, and South East Europe and Middle East to share experiences and knowledge and to support their creativity, analysis and action as actors in peace building at different levels. Another intention has been to increase recognition of adult support for meaningful, inclusive and safe ways for children and young people to participate in peace building and peace processes at all levels.

This film portrays the regional workshop for Asia in 2010. The documentary provides an in-depth story of the evolvement of the workshop and how Save the Children has been working with children’s participation in peace building.
