Child Rights Governance Toolkit: Fair finance for children analysis

This tool-kit contains three tools that can potentially improve advocacy, campaigning and programming on investment in children/ fair finance namely:

1. political economy analysis of public finance and budgeting;
2. equity analysis of budgets;
3. assessment of cost barriers.

All these tools are integral to the CRG sub-theme on investment in children as well as fair finance guarantees of the Every Last Child Campaign. All the three tools are very relevant to the new child rights governance common approach onInvestment in Children.The three tools donot seek to replace existing ones, especially child rights situation analysesandchildrights governance analyses. Instead, they are conceptualized as an integral part of the above analyses.
