Child Rights Governance in East and Central Africa (Bulletin)

This second issue of the Child Rights Governance (CRG) Bulletin for Eastern and Central Africa provides a platform for learning and information sharing between the Save the Children Sweden (SCS) Child Rights Governance Programme and other stakeholders in the children’s sector. It has introduced a new segment that gives special focus to some SCS regional partners. The partner portrait in this issue focuses on the Children’s Legal Action Network (CLAN) and Child Rights Institute (CRI). In addition, the bulletin provides insight into the 17th Session of the ACERWC and the CSO Forum that preceded it. Finally, it gives country-specific information ranging from UNCRC reporting and the plight of Nubian children in Kenya, Child rights in south Sudan following the referendum and the situation of child rights in Somaliland.
