This is the inaugural issue of the Child Protection MERG Newsletter, planned to be published on a quarterly basis. The Secretariat of the Child Protection Monitoring and Evaluation Reference Group (CP MERG), Save the Children and UNICEF are launching this newsletter to exchange information and foster discussion on monitoring and evaluation of child protection. It presents updates and news about monitoring and evaluation in child protection specific to the MERG and more broadly. The newsletter includes information on the different events taking place in the area of child protection M&E and provides links to related sites and publications.
