The Secretariat of the Child Protection Monitoring and Evaluation Reference Group (CP MERG), Save the Children and UNICEF created this newsletter that appears quarterly, to exchange information and foster discussion on monitoring and evaluation of child protection. The CP MERG aims at strengthening the quality of monitoring and evaluation (M&E), research and data collection in child protection, through the development of standards, tools and recommendations which are relevant for the sector. This last issue of the MERG Newsletter for the year 2013 provides you with the latest news and updates on CP M&E and gives you access to new research publications, initiatives, news and events.
