Child Abuse is a reality and it is up to the adults (citizens, caregivers, parents etc) to ensure that children are protected from harm and abuse. This guide on child protection is an easy reference for the actions required if a child is found in need of protection. It lays out steps for citizens and care providers on how to reach out to an abused child. This guide contains information which is practical and doable for all adults and concerned citizens and is based on Save the Children’s experience in addressing issues of Child Protection. It is expected that this guide will help create an enabling environment for children so that they feel safe and protected.
