From the 14th to the 19th of November 2016, 19 people from 7 countries in South-East and East Asia participated in the Child Protection in Emergencies Professional Development Programme’s residential training phase, which was held in Manila, Philippines.
The first week of the residential training focused on Child Protection Emergencies Strategies and Approaches but a number of other topics were also covered. A number of learning opportunities were provided, including national presentations, live streams, and a child participation activity.
