Mericar Edmilao, a Child Protection Officer at Save the Children Phillippines, shares how her involvement in the programme helped her to become more active in Child Protection in Emergencies work in her country. After the programme, she became a member of the Core Group of the National Child Protection Working Group and deployed to the Typhoon Mangkhut response in 2018.
